1. The prospective importer shall be registered by Tanzania Meat Board as Livestock Importer

2. The prospective importer should apply for the Import Permit from to the Director of Veterinary Services, MLF Development (issued prior to animal, animal products importation)

3. Animal should be certified to be physically health (at a time of import) by competent authority (Reg. Vet from a Registered facility)
