Export of Food and Food Products
    • 1. The exporter must apply for phytosanitary certificate from PHS if originates from food and food products
    • 2. The exporter makes application for plant export permit from Ministry of Agriculture
    • 3. The Exporter make an application for health certificate/export permit from TFDA Online Portal
    • TIN Certificate and Tax Clearance Letter from TRA
    • Company registration certificate & Business license from BRELA
    • Import permit from the importing country
    • Certificate of registration of food products from TFDA
    • Registration certificate of premise from TFDA
    • Business permit from TFDA
    • Certificate of analysis of products from TFDA
    • Certificate of origin from TCCIA
    • Radiation certificate from TAEC
    • Phytosanitary/Zoosanitary certificate
    • Profoma invoice from TFDA (For analysis of products)
    • Food/Food products Export Permit/Health Certificate, TFDA
    • Phytosanitary certificate, PHS.
    • Plant Export Permit, PHS
    • 15 USD for phytosanitary/zoosanitary certificate from PHS/Livestock Ministry and Payment of inspection fees is based on the weight of consignment.
    • Cost for analysis of products from TFDA (Refer to TFDA fees and charges regulation, 2015)
    • TZS 0 for Plant Export Permit, PHS
    • TZS 0 for Phytosanitary certificate (for food originating from plants), PHS
    • 01 to 02 working days for phytosanitary/ zoosanitary certificate
    • 01 working day for health certificate/export permit of registered food and up to 25 working days export of non-registable products after receiving pre-shipment sample
    • 01 to 02 days for plant export permit, PHS
