Import of Industrial and Consumer Chemicals
1. The Authorized importer intending to import Industrial and Consumer Chemicals should apply for import permit from the Government Chemist Laboratory Authority (GCLA)
2. The Importer should apply for CoC Exemption from TBS through Confederation of Trade Industries (CTI)
• Company Registration Certificate & Business license from BRELA
• TIN Certificate and Tax Clearance Letter from TRA
• Certificate of origin from the exporting country
• Bill of lading from the importer or C & F agent
• Profoma invoice from the exporter
Industrial and Consumer Chemicals Import Permit
• USD 150 for less than 10 samples and USD 15 per sample for more than 10 samples for sampling from GCLA
• For more than 100 samples brought by regular customers to GCLA for analysis, Service Legal Agreement (SLA) is encouraged
90 to 180 working days for Chemicals import permit
