Export of Coffee
    • 1. The Exporter make an application for Phytosanitary certificate from PHS in the Ministry of Agriculture Food Security & Co-operatives
    • 2. The Exporter seek for Plant Export Permit and Stamp from Ministry of Agriculture
    • 3. The Exporter make an application for Coffee Export Approval and Quality Certificate from Tanzania Coffee Board (TCB)
    • 4. The Saler takes a coffee sample to TCB for testing
    • 5. TCB tastes the sample through the testing laboratory
    • 6. If the sample qualifies, the coffee to be exported is approved and Export Permit / provision of quality certificate is done
    • 7. The Exporter apply for the Health certificate from TFDA online portal if requested by the importing country
    • General Inputs for both:
    • Green Coffee Export License – (from Auction)
    • For Direct Green Coffee Export License
    • For Roasted Bean and Ground Export License
    • For Instant Coffee Export License
    • Green Coffee Export License – (from auction), TCB
    • Direct Green Coffee Export License, TCB
    • Roast Bean and Ground Export License, TCB
    • Instant Coffee Export License, TCB
    • Export Permit, TCB
    • Health Certificate, TFDA
    • Phytosanitary certificate, PHS
    • Plant Export Permit, Ministry of Agriculture
    • TZS 40,000 ICO certificate fee from ICO
    • USD 15 per consignment for phytosanitary certificate from PHS and Payment of inspection fees is based on the weight of consignment.
    • 1% Export Levy of consignment FOB value for export permit, TCB
    • TZS 0 for plant export permit, Ministry of Agriculture
    • TZS 0 for health certificate, TFDA
    • 01 to 03 working days for export permit, TCB
    • 01 to 02 working days for phytosanitary certificate, PHS
    • 01 to 02 working days for plant export permit certificate, Ministry of Agriculture
    • 01 to 03 working days for health certificate, TFDA
    • 01 to 03 working days for Green Coffee Export License – (from auction), Direct Green Coffee Export License, Roast Bean and Ground Export License, and Instant Coffee Export License, TCB
