Import of Fruits and Fruits Products
    • 1. The Authorized importer intending to import Fruits and fruits products should apply for import permit to the Ministry of Agriculture.
    • 2. Plant import permit and phytosanitary certificate approval should as well be applied from the Ministry of Agriculture, Plants Health Services Section
    • 3. The importer should apply the permit to the TFDA through TFDA online portal
    • Company Registration Certificate from BRELA
    • TIN Certificate and Tax Clearance Letter from TRA
    • Valid Business License from BRELA
    • Certificate of Conformity (CoC) from TBS
    • Health certificate from the exporting country
    • Business Permit from TFDA
    • Bill of lading/airway bill from the importer
    • Profoma invoice from the Supplier (Consignee)
    • Certificate of analysis from the competent regulatory body from the exporting country
    • Radiation free certificate from the exporting country
    • Phytosanitary certificate in case of importation of un-processed cereal and plant origin product
    • Certificate of Origin from the exporting country
    • Fruits and fruits products Import License/Permit, Ministry of Agriculture.
    • Health Certificate, TFDA
    • Phytosanitary certificate approval, PHS
    • TZS 0 for Import Permit, Ministry of Agriculture
    • USD 8 for phytosanitary certificate approval, PHS
    • TFDA, Refers to fees and charges regulation, 2015
    • 01 to 03 working days for fruits and fruits products import permit, Ministry of Agriculture
    • 01 to 03 working days for Phytosanitary certificate, PHS
    • 01 to 02 days for registered product, up to 25 days for non-registrable product after receiving pre-shipment sample, TFDA
